About Us
|
Otter Creek first opened in Historic Downtown Leesburg in 1998, and features a distinctive collection of antique and vintage furnishings, home décor, art and gifts. We are housed in a two-story, Federal-style brick building, built in the 1820’s for the family of Peter W. Johnson.
We love to support and show the workmanship of American artisans and craftsman, and are constantly searching for one-of-a-kind pieces and creative ways to make something new out of something old. Our collection is always changing so please come and visit!

Interior Design
Fred Frankenfield has been surprising friends and family with his one-of-a-kind finds since his early days growing up in northwest Ohio. Fred graduated from Ohio State and went on to complete an Interior Design degree at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He started out in commercial interior design but soon realized his creative instincts were calling him to do more. So in 1998, he and his wife Jen opened Otter Creek in historic downtown Leesburg.

Otter Creek showcases Fred’s creativity and unique ability to see the decorative potential and provenance of antiques and crafted pieces. His sense of style pervades each room at Otter Creek, ranging from whimsical to elegant.
Interior design consultation is available on an hourly fee basis. Services range from a simple room restaging using existing pieces, to a more extensive redesign of your home. Fred also consults on staging for a home sale.
Whatever your needs are, Fred will find the right design elements for enhancing the charm of your home! Please call the store at 703-669-0140 to schedule an appointment, or email: OtterCreekInc@aol.com.
